SWAP Free Accounts

Orbex offers swap-free forex trading accounts, also known as Islamic forex accounts or Shariah forex accounts. These accounts comply with Islamic religious beliefs and are offered exclusively to Muslim clients. Islamic accounts give their owners an opportunity to hold their positions for an unlimited amount of time (Trading Conditions Apply).

According to the Islamic religion, any business transaction in which one of the parties must pay or receive some interest from another party is forbidden. As swaps fall under this category, any client providing sufficient proof of religion will be granted a Swap Free Orbex Forex Trading Account, where no swap or roll-over interest is charged or incurred on positions held overnight.

Any client misusing swap-free facilities for profit by holding floating positions for a long period of time must close their floating positions immediately. If the client does not take appropriate action to halt such practices, Orbex will unfortunately be forced to close the account effective immediately and with no prior notice, as these fees are handled by Orbex and not by the client.

Non-Muslim forex traders are not eligible for Swap Free accounts.
